I can't believe that tomorrow Canon will have been part of our family for 4 weeks. It is amazing to me how fast the time goes. Canon is starting to look more like a human and less like E.T. He is getting so chubby. He has a double chin, and little rolls on his thighs. I am just loving it. Mat thinks he is starting to look like cole when he was a baby. I can't decide, I need to get a picture of both and put them side by side. I think he looks like his own self, and no one I have ever met. None the less he is cute, and we LOVE him.

In his 3rd and 4th week of life he has become more high maintenance, he prefers to be held and likes to cry a lot. Night time has been rough too. I have spent the last 2 weeks on the couch holding him for hours in the middle of the night so he doesn't wake up the Family. yep, I am one tired Mama! I know I shouldn't hold him, but having one awake is better than 3, so that's my strategy for now.

Canon is loving bath time, and I am loving how he smells all fresh and clean with the baby lotion slathered on his skin. Man, I love this little boy!

My cutest friend Katie from AZ, not only is she cute but super funny too. Anyway she sent Canon this blanket in the pictures below. Sav and Cole both have "silkies" which are blankets with a silkie side that they love and have to have to sleep with, to ride in the car with, to sit on the couch with, to eat breakfast with etc. I kept telling Abby that I needed to find one for the "new baby" so he didn't feel left out. What do you know Katie to the rescue, his very own silkie with his NAME ON IT!! On that day it arrived in the mail I knew Canons every dream would come true! Thanks Katie, we love ya!
