{ The Cruise }

Mat and I just returned from a much needed, ultra relaxing, VACATION!!

Last year Mat won a cruise thru work. I was to pregnant to go when the rest of the people went so we scheduled it for October.

We flew in to SanDiego on Saturday and spent the afternoon and evening there. On Sunday we boarded the ship and sailed away for 6 WONDERFUL days.

no KIDS invited!!! This was the first time in 6 years Mat and I have been on a vacation with NO kids! Holy cow I am addicted, we were already planning our next getaway while we were still there...

(tons and tons of pictures, and i even left TONS out)

A sailboat in San Diego bay

For dinner we went into the Gas lamp district and had dinner and a Mexican place called Fred's. After dinner we went and saw the movie Social Network. It has been way too long since we have been to a grown up movie!!

After the movie we walked back to our hotel, it was about 6 miles but we saw some pretty cool stuff on our walk, and lots of Bums sleeping on the sidewalks!

The view of the city from across the bay

We are so happy to be out on a walk past bedtime!!

The first day on the ship was a day at sea. We realxed and really enjoyed ourselves.
I read my book and magazine. Mat and I talked and people watched. and of course ate and ate.

I was loving it! The weather was perfect. I loved being able to just talk and talk to Mat uninterrupted!!

That evening was dress up night foe dinner. I think it's so much fun to get all dressed up. Mat well he doesn't enjoy it quite as much!

We sat with the oddest couple ever. But man were we ever entertained. They talked and talked and talked. Mat evenutally tuned them out I would just occasionally nod. Dinner was a painful experience every night!

Of course the wonderful towel creations never disappoint!

Our first stop was in Cabo.
It was another fabulous day!
We walked around the town and then spent the rest of the day relaxing on the beach. The little sales crew walks the beach all day and Mat loves talking to them about EVERYthing.

The next day was spent at sea.

Once again we had perfect weather, and enjoyed ourselves to the extreme!!

On our way somewhere. Of course I always had a Diet coke in hand!!

Mat enjoying his Monkey Colada.

Virgin of course!!

Sushi please!!

Us on the top deck

We spent a lot of time on the elevator. It had a mirror so we figured it was the perfect photo op. We had one two many head shots, since it was just the two of us!

Once again a nice towel suprise!!

Ensanada Mexico was our next stop. It is such a poor little city. We decided to go on a tour to "La Bufadora" It is a place where the ocean blows out of the rocks and looks like a whale's blowhole. On the bus ride there we saw a lot of the city. The road th the blow hole us lined with vendors.
It was fun to see, but I don't think I will be going to Ensanda anytime soon!

We have our tour badges on so we didn't get lost! LOL

The next morning we got off the ship early and headed for home.
The minute our plane landed we were on aour to the cabin so we could help round up and ship the cows out for the winter.
It was such a fun time. I really enjoyed being with Mat all week. I forgot what it's like to feel like a real person! I love my kids and my job as a Mama tons, but a break really does the body, and MIND good!

Looks like tons of fun! That is such a good break. It makes you feel extra ready to take on the kids again. You look like one hot mamma missy for just having a baby. Cute Pictures! Now that your back in town LET'S GET TOGETHER!!! :)

Love it!

I'm laughing at "we got to stay out past bed time"! we always joke around about that...because we too have a curfew at 7:30!

So fun to be with your hubby, talk, relax, sleep in, read...love those times too!

Glad you guys could re-connect!
