We spent Labor Day weekend at the cabin, keeping with the long standing Alder tradition. As usual it didn't disappoint. The kids are seriously in heaven every second of every day!
We drove up Thursday evening, and Lou was cracking us up with the sunglasses! She is such a happy girl, and the kids love everything she does!
The kids found some mud and decided to paint their faces to look like camo so they could go hunting. I was so mad, but I let it slide because they were having so much fun!
We did some working, and some relaxing. We watched the BYU game, it was a close one! We had a weenie roast, and Lou played and played with Buddy!
On Sunday we went to church at the Mountain Man Rendevous. It was fun to have outside church sitting on blankets, and catching grasshoppers. It was pretty entertaining seeing everyone dressed up like mountain men and Indians!
And like always the horseback rides and four wheeler rides were the biggest hit! I especially enjoyed the "Moms gone wild" ride! I'm sad that summer is officially over, but so thankful for Family traditions and that we get to end summer every year with a BANG!!
