We woke up early on Monday morning so we could get on the road and be able to hit the beach!
We ate breakfast at the hotel buffet(can I just say yuck)! The kids were in breakfast heaven!
After breakfast we were in the road for 5 long traffic filled hours!
Sav and Cole were so good! If course all 4 cars had a CB radio so mat and I had fun talking, and laughing and joking with everyone! Each car had a nickname we were lucky enough to be "Black Beauty"!
I will say I have the best brothers and sisters ever!
When we finally made it to SD we checked in to the hotel(which was in the most perfect location, tucked right in on mission bay) and then walked down the road to find lunch! We were lucky enough to find a taco stand! It became a trip favorite! I will say I am all quesadilla'd out!!
Once my Mom and Dad arrived(they flew) we went right across the street to the beach! It was freezing, I was bundled up! The kids had no idea it was freezing, they were so excited to finally be at the BEACH!!
That night our Hotel had s'mores by the bay! If you know me you know I was like a kid in a candy shop!
I just love me a s'more... Or 2!
What an awesome first day!! Topped off with fire works!

I hope you guys had some sunny days too! I am so glad I dont have to be next to you and all your tan-ness ;0 well, actually I would bear it to see you :) so fun!
