Gordon B. Hinckley

As I am sure many of you have heard our dear Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley died yesterday evening January 27th in his home. My first emotion when I heard the news was a bit of sadness, though it was quickly followed by a feeling of happiness that he was able to be with his sweet wife Marjorie again.

President Hinckley is definitely the Phophet that I remember growing up with. I loved his sense of humor, and willingness to tell the world all about the Mormon Church. He was such a great man and I will miss seeing him and hearing his talks at Conference. I am so thankful for the example he has set for me and for people all over the world of every faith. I am so thankful to have the gospel in my life and I feel we are so blessed to be able to have lived in the time of President Gordon B. Hinckley. He will be greatly missed but his legacy will live on.
